County approves year-end budget

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. - The Stoddard County Commission approved some adjustments to the 2011 budget and discussed the county's property and liability insurance at its regular meeting Monday at the Government Building. The commission approved the following adjustments to the 2011 budget as presented by County Clerk Joe Watson: An additional $16,000 to the Emergency Management Services budget for flood control last spring; $300,000 to the capital improvements budget for mold remediation in the Justice Building; $4,000 for autopsies in the coroner's office; $51,233.68 to represent grant money received by the county and then paid out to appropriate agencies; $2,000 for administration in the prosecuting attorney's office; $1,000 for recorder maintenance, and $30,361.25 for the Essex special paving project.. ...
