A pair of Dexter residents has been jailed for drug charges following a routine traffic stop. The arrest occurred on Saturday, Dec. 14 at approximately 9 p.m. Stoddard County Sheriff's Deputy Andrew Johnson stated in a probable cause affidavit that he observed a vehicle that did not have a functioning rear license plate light. DEXTER, Mo. - The Dexter Bearcats varsity boys basketball team suffered a 53-25 loss in its home opener against the Twin Rivers Royals Monday night. The Royals (3-1) jumped out to a 6-0 lead.
