Welcome to blog nation Paul! I think having a blog on fitness is a positive thing. It may help push people to actually work out if they have any reservations about the subject that you can help them with.

Do you have any 65+ patrons who come to your gym, or is it all geared for the gung ho younger crowd? What sort of modifications do you make for the out-of-shape older crowd who'd like to get fit?

Do you have discounts for first time "joiners?" No pun intended.

This might give people the info they need to see if your ready for their body type/age without being out big bucks to do so.

We have patrons over 65 and they are doing great. We are "EVERYONE'S" Gym and that is how our atmosphere is. We are not in Venic Beach California or Miami Beach. We have created a very friendly and family atmosphere where everyone feels both welcomed and comfortable.

Our fees are very low and we have discounts for senior citizens, active military and students. We have no enrollment fees so a first timer only has the monthly fee. Here is our rates:

Single $32.13 includes tax

Senior, Student, Active Military $26.78 includes tax

Family - $48.20 includes tax

Paul, these rates sound very reasonable. It would also be nice to come into a place where a trainer could advise us on how to use the equipment properly.

Both my wife and I are Certified Personal Trainers and Nutrition Specialists. We have a 3rd member of our team studying for his certification and all of us would be more than happy to show you the proper way to use all of our equipment and design a program for you. We do this at no extra charge. Come and see us.
