3 months!

My wife and I have had Fitness Connection now for 3 months. I have witnessed many memebers achieving and surpassing their goals. It gives me great personal satisfaction knowing that we have contributed to their wellness. Most of the credit however has to go to them! Remember that 30% of your goal is achieved in the gym the rest is up to you through proper nutrition and rest. Many members now tell me that it has become a habit and is now just part of their routine. That is fantastic.
Another thing I am proud of is the atmosphere that we have fostered here. Our members are great people and everyone gets along with one another and helps one another. There is no finger pointing or staring unless of course it is to say WOW! You're really looking great. When another member compliments another on their progress it really fosters a sense of accomplishment in the other member. We have been upgrading constantly with new upholstery, treadmill upgrades and equipment.
We now sport the colors of RED & BLACK and soon will have the BEAR CAT on a mirror. If you have not been by in a while come and see us. We have no sign up fees and Personal Training is Free! We also have tanning as low as $10 per month unlimited. Hope to see you soon! Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Congrats on the three month mile stone. I do have a question for you. I have many problems with my back, so I actually kind of fear going to a gym because I don't always know when enough is enough. My L5 is 50% gone, and I also worry about excercise (especially weight training in general, because I LOVE to lift), making it degenerate at a more rapid pace. Do you know what would be best for me? I'm about 20-30 pounds overweight, and would love to do something about it, I'm just not sure at this point.
Well, mrsdolphin, it looks like we're not gonna get any responses on this blog.
Paul Joiner! Where are you???????
It's looking that way GL. Need to get on him to keep up on this thing!
Maybe we should just talk about health issues among ourselves???? Mmmm....let's see. Today was the first sunny, warm day, and I walked 1/2 mile around the park. Pretty pathetic, but I guess it's a start!
Now, I need to eat something healthy, but I don't wanna cook, so I guess it's raw veggies again tonight...
Sorry guys for the late reply,,, there is plenty you can do ,,, light weight with low reps and using machines that isolate the muscles you are training is the best way to eliminate back problems. Also there are exercises you can do that will help strengthen the back and do them at a slow pace without weight. Mainly stretching. Come by and see me and let's see what we can do ,,,
