Where oh where has the time gone!

June is now upon us that means we half way through the year already. Remember that New Year's resolution you made or well were going to make? Now just what was that resolution? Oh wait a minute it will come to you, oh yeah "Join a gym, lose weight." and this TIME I MEAN IT! No slouching, this time I am going to do it, eat right, cut back on things and get active. Yes this time it's for real!

Well 6 months have almost past and how you doing on that resolution? Let's see so far what you have done.

Join Gym - yes

Eat Right - yes

Go to gym at least 3 x a week - yes

lose weight - nope

Huh? You joined the gym, (yeah you joined but you went for 2 straight weeks in January started skipping a week here and there and before you knew it you were not going at all. Eat right. Yep you sure did the first 5 days of the new year you cut back on everything. Started drinking water, ate less fatty fried foods the whole nine but once again hey let's go to lunch, hey let's order pizza, I'll just pick up Mickey D's and bingo you right back on track to eating the way you did before you made a resolution.

To date 22 weeks have passed. Had you stuck with everything and lost an average of 1.5# per week depending on what your goal was, you'd be 33# lighter right now. Well the year is half over so there is always next year, right! WRONG! Make a SUMMER TIME RESOLUTION. There are 30 weeks left in this year and by the time it is time to pass the Turkey goals could be accomplished! Look how fast 22 weeks passed do you think time will slow down between now and Christmas? Unlikely so what are you waiting for get to it NOW!
