Well you have just returned from the Dr. and the visit was just as you expected... cut out this and cut out that and start exercising. Oh, there again is that dreaded word, EXERCISE!
Well, you can look at is dreaded or you can look at it as, "Well, it's about time! Your blood pressure is up your cholesterol is up and well it's about time. Depending on your weight situation and blood sugar you could even be looking at type 2 diabeties. All of this can be controlled through diet and exercise after all didn't your Dr. just tell you that? Sometimes I feel like I am on the soapbox with a mega-phone, but if that is what it takes to make people listen, then so be it. The problem is too often we know what we should be doing but that path is the one that is least chosen so we choose to take the road more traveled. Well the problem with that road is there are too many that are on the side of it with poor health conditions.
It is all about the choices in life we make, we are all aware of this but we continue to choose the wrong path. So what are you waiting for and which path are you going to choose? As always if you have any questions e-mail them to me at fitnessconnection@live.com
I want to compliment a couple that just joined about a month ago on their progress. I will only use first names. Way to go Don & Angela? Don has lost 15# and Angela is down 2 sizes plus 8 # lighter. They chose the path less traveled and are reaping the dividends of that choice. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
