NAME POOR DOG WIN $50.00 CASH

Last June "Poor dog" was rescued from KK highway. He had almost no hair on him and a severe skin infection, plus, he was almost starved to death and extremely dehydrated. This poor dog had no time left. He was on the verge of death. After a life saving trip to the vets office, he began his treatment for demodectic mange. For the last year he has been recuperating and doing well. His skin condition was only the start --some"one" had kicked him in his poor little mouth so hard, they broke the upper portion of his Maxillary jaw bone. His teeth sit in at a very odd angle. He was in pretty bad condition when he came here, some one may have thought he looked too gross and kicked him away from them. Most rescues and shelters euthanize animals in this condition. We saw the wonderful temperament this approximately 6 month old puppy had and wonder how anyone can neglect and abuse such a sweet little baby like this. However we have seen worse, and I am sure we will see worse in the future.

THE TIME HAS COME for us to stop calling this pet "Poor Dog". Almost ready for his new home, WE ARE OUT OF NAMES? What do you think this lucky guys name should be? Jaymeey, it's good to see you back on the blogs. My dial-up system will retrieve only one photo - the "before" one.

Mange is a horrible disease, and the maddening thing is that it's so EASY to cure - yet people dump their dogs, rather than spend a minimal amount to cure them. The animals are then subjected to a torturous existance - especially in the wintertime.
