Cooking with Karen
I began cooking at the age of 9 with my father and have always loved trying new recipes. Beware: I am fond of onions and peppers! I am diabetic so I do try to cook more healthy dishes these days. My door is always open to trying and sharing new recipes. Let's see what we can cook up with this blog!
Yummy Salad

Italian Salad
1 head lettuce/torn into peices
1 red onion/sliced thin
2 cups carrots(french cut)
2 cups grape tomatoes
1 small can sliced black olives/drained
1/2 jar peperoncini deli sliced peppers
Bold Italian Dressing
parmesan cheese
Tear or cut lettuce in large bowl with lid, add the next 5 ingredients, pour on salad dressing and mix well, put parmesan cheese on top and mix right before serving.
This is a recipe that you can add more or less of any ingredient. You can also use light or fat free dressing and it works fine. The carrots I bought at walmart and that is the way they were already cut.
