Italian Salad
1 head lettuce/torn into peices Tear or cut lettuce in large bowl with lid, add the next 5 ingredients, pour on salad dressing and mix well, put parmesan cheese on top and mix right before serving. This is a recipe that you can add more or less of any ingredient. You can also use light or fat free dressing and it works fine. The carrots I bought at walmart and that is the way they were already cut. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
I began cooking at the age of 9 with my father and have always loved trying new recipes. Beware: I am fond of onions and peppers! I am diabetic so I do try to cook more healthy dishes these days. My door is always open to trying and sharing new recipes. Let's see what we can cook up with this blog!

Karen...
Let's go with some good old fashioned summertime Adult Beverage ideas and recipes. How 'bout it!?
I am not sure what kind of recipe you are wanting, the only beverages we ever made were tea and koolaid.
If you could be more specific I will try to help you out.
Lets try something along the lines of a :
John Daly: Lemonade + Sweet Tea Vodka!
Pond Water: Anything in the liquor cabinet plus all juices and cool aids on hand.
Thanks for the help Karen!
I don't have any recipes of these drinks but I will try and see if I can come up with any from a few friends that also collect recipes.
No promises but will try.
