Cooking with Karen
I began cooking at the age of 9 with my father and have always loved trying new recipes. Beware: I am fond of onions and peppers! I am diabetic so I do try to cook more healthy dishes these days. My door is always open to trying and sharing new recipes. Let's see what we can cook up with this blog!

Fruit Cobbler Crunch
1 cup flour
pinch salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar(splenda)
1 egg
3/4 cup butter or shortening
mix together, will be thick, spread over fruit.
Bake at 375 40 min or untill brown the way you want it.
I had posted a recipe previously somewhat like this but was ask again for one and possibly a simple one. This one has been used in our family for many years and works very good with most any kind of fruit. It is about as simple as they come.
hope this takes care of the need, if not let me know and I will look further. If anyone has another they want to share please send it to me.
thanks and have a great week.
