Delicious DesertPosted Sunday, December 6, 2009, at 11:56 AM
A friend of mine made this for me a few years ago for my birthday, she knew I didn't care much for cake so this was my treat and it has been a favorite every since, I have made it for various occasions and it is always a hit, and the good thing is you can use many variations...sugar free, low fat, fat free and so forth so try it and enjoy!!! The original recipe calls for snickers.
Snicker Pie
5 regular size candy bars Slice/chop candy bars in small pieces. Cream the powdered sugar and cream cheese together. Mix candy bars, cream mixture, cool whip and peanut butter together. Put into the two pie crust and chill. Enjoy. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
I began cooking at the age of 9 with my father and have always loved trying new recipes. Beware: I am fond of onions and peppers! I am diabetic so I do try to cook more healthy dishes these days. My door is always open to trying and sharing new recipes. Let's see what we can cook up with this blog!

Whew!!! That one sounds RICH!! I guess you have to cut small pieces!
What can you substitute for powdered sugar?
What can you substitute for powdered sugar?
Would Splenda work?
And what could you substitute for Snickers?? (Just kidding! There's NO substitute for Snickers!!)
I tried splenda and it is ok but not the best, but it can be made sugar free this way. Sugar Free Candy Bars work fine.
Thanks, Karen -- what a sacrifice you've made in the service of your blog!
