I have had several request for Taco Casseroles so I am posting two recipes that works very well..
Taco Casserole
1 lb. lean ground beef additional tortilla chips if desired Heat over to 350. Cook beef over med high heat until throughly cooked, drain. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, and taco seasoning mix. Reduce heat to med. heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. In ungreased 1 1/2 to 2 qt. casserole, place tortilly chips. Top evenly with beef mixture, Srpinkle with onions, tomato, and cheese. Bake uncovered 20 to 30 min. or until hot and bubbly. Arrange additional tortilla chips around the edge of casserole. We have had this before and really liked it. Taco Casserole

Heat to boiling over med. heat, stirring occasionally. Place tortilla chips in a ungreased 1 1/2 qt. casserole. top with beef mixture, sprinkle with green onions, tomato, and cheese. Bake uncovered 20 to 30 min. or until hot and bubbly. Arrange additional tortilla chips around the edge of casserole if desired. |
I began cooking at the age of 9 with my father and have always loved trying new recipes. Beware: I am fond of onions and peppers! I am diabetic so I do try to cook more healthy dishes these days. My door is always open to trying and sharing new recipes. Let's see what we can cook up with this blog!
