I began cooking at the age of 9 with my father and have always loved trying new recipes. Beware: I am fond of onions and peppers! I am diabetic so I do try to cook more healthy dishes these days. My door is always open to trying and sharing new recipes. Let's see what we can cook up with this blog!
Cobbler Crunch

Fruit Crunch
1 cup flour
pinch salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cp sugar/splenda works fine
1 egg
3/4 cup butter or shortening
Put enough fruit with juice to cover the bottom of dish you are using, extra juice makes it better. I have used apples, peaches, strawberries, pineapple, cherries, blackberries, and blueberries and it all works fine so everyone should find this recipe fits there taste. I have cooked the fruit (just enough to let the water get thickened a bit) if it needs more fruit juice.
mix together remaining ingredients, it will be thick, spread over fruit.
bake at 375 (40 minutes) or until brown.
