12 (10 inch) flour tortillas
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 head lettuce
1 (6 ounce) package sliced deli-style turkey
2 cups shredded carrots
2 cups minced tomato
Directions
1. Spread cream cheese evenly over the tortillas. Top the cream cheese with lettuce leaves. Arrange the turkey slices in even layers on top of the lettuce. Sprinkle the carrots and tomato over the turkey slices. Roll the tortillas into wraps. Cut the wraps diagonally into bite-sized pieces. Secure with toothpicks.
These are easy to make and are a great addition if you are having company, wedding/baby showers, receptions ect.
Meat and Pickle Wraps
3 packages thin sliced meat, any variety
1 package cream cheese/softened
1 to 2 jars pickle spears>br>
toothpicks
lay 3 slices thin slice meat with pieces overlapping, spread with softened cream cheese, lay a pickle spear on one end and roll up. Slice in desired pieces and stick in toothpick to hold together.
Tomato Bacon Nibbles
24 to 30 cherry tomatoes
16 ounces bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Cut a thin slice off the top of each tomato and, if desired, cut a thin slice from the bottom of each tomato, so tomatoes will stand upright; scoop out and discard tomato pulp. (A 1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon is the perfect size to scoop out the tiny tomatoes for stuffing.) Place tomatoes upside-down on a paper towel to drain for 10 minutes.
Mix bacon and remaining 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Stuff tomatoes. Serve immediately or chill up to 2 hours. Makes 2 to 2 1/2 dozen.
