Revelation 3:14-19 If you were to read these verses you would find the foundation for this blog and have an understanding of the essence of me. I am a Christian! I am not ashamed or embarrassed to be so, nor will my obvious faults keep me from proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Every "rant" in this blog will have this fact at it's base. This in no way should be taken as me believing that I am right all the time. May I always be ready to accept the lessons that come only from being wrong! However I will be either hot or cold! May the Lord Jesus not find me to be lukewarm.

I hate waiting!!

Actually I don't hate waiting. I despise walking into a doctors office, checking in, smiling at the person behind the window(them smiling back)and waiting and hour and a half past the appointment time without being told!!!

I understand emergencies happen so don't go to that old stand by! But to not notify the rest of the CUSTOMERS, which is what they are, is just inconsiderate and rude!

I found it to be a habit of this particular doctor to be late to everything including my surgery!! I was prepped and ready the rest of the staff standing around saying "We are sorry we don't know where he is." Which means he didn't even think he needed to call and notify the hospital he would be late!!

Maybe one of you super smart computer whizzes could come up with a web sight reporting on the on-time stats for doctors in the area! If it affects their wallet maybe they would try harder to respect the customer!!!

Do you really think this will improve if we socialize health care? What will be the incentive then? They get paid regardless and get the same amount regardless of how they perform their job!! You won't even be able to pack up your files and choose a different doctor as I did in this instance!!

Get ready to wait until the government says so, but that is ok because as soon as they socialize the work force you will still get paid to wait!!!

Thank you goatlady!! You are the first to comment and I appreciate the encouragement! I know not everyone will agree with me and I think I am prepared for that, we will see.

I am new to this but I am assured by more experience members of the Blogospere (love that by the way) that I will do okay. I hope that if nothing else I will make people think! If for no other reason than to prove me wrong!!

That's a good attitude, Roy. I'm also glad to see that you check your blog right away and don't let it languish untended.

It'll take awhile for the NSC site to get on its feet. Hopefully, folks will get wind of the fact that it's over here. An opinion piece should help get things moving.
