Changes coming to city trash pickup

It was announced at the Monday evening meeting of the Bloomfield Board of Aldermen that Republic Services (formerly Allied Waste) would soon begin issuing blue, plastic trash containers to all of its Bloomfield residential pickup customers.

The move, at this point, is still a couple of weeks away.
