December meetings in Advance

City workers put up the new Christmas street banners in Advance today, replacing the old, worn-out decorations. What do you think, folks? They don't light up at night, but they're pretty in the daytime.

Looking ahead at December, the meetings line up as follows:

* Dec. 1 -- Tuesday, 7 p.m. - Advance Community Library Board

* Dec. 3 -- Thursday, 6 p.m. - Advance Senior Community Center Board

* Dec. 10-- Thursday, 7 p.m. - Advance R-IV Board of Education

* Dec. 14-- Monday, 6 p.m. - Advance Board of Aldermen

There will be no Stoddard County Historical Society Meeting this month.
