The Battle Didn't Go Well

Too many wounded are unable to fight
Many do what is easy not what is right

In your hour of greatest need you find yourself alone
Enemies surround you and each of them has a stone

Bringing up the past twisting truth into a lie
If they are relentless they know you will die

You begin to question wondering what did you do
There must be a reason this is happening to you

There is.....

When you turned from darkness you embraced light
For the weak and defenseless you continously fight

Giving hope to the hopeless calming the storm
Bringing home the lost making the cold warm

Lives that were destroyed you help to rebuild
Resisting temptation to the Holy Spirit you yield

You are a high value target with a cross on your back
This is the reason you are constantly under attack

And though you feel alone truth is you're not
Others are near you who also feel they're forgot

Fighting their way to you to help and protect
They come to love you not judge and inspect

Tears are a language that GOD understands
A treasure He gathers and holds in His hands

This battle is not over there will be another day
There are miracles ahead if you continue to pray
