Hidden Treasure

She was a treasure hidden in plain sight
Against a dark background a spot of white

Brilliant colors dominate the picture
Her simple innocence making it richer

But the other colors do not understand
Unwilling to see they think she is bland

Strong colors know the answer how to fix
Paint over her or with one of them mix

But the Master knows His work is complete
As with tears His little one washes feet

Exposing a heart with an array of color
This treasure only found by those who accept her
