Peace

Its' source is GOD's grace from which all blessings flow
Its' direction does not depend on how the winds blow

Peace cannot be denied to one who does not walk by sight
To the one who continues to trust GOD in the darkest night

This peace that passes understanding cannot be contained
Bursting the dam of reality on its' course it has remained

Peace brings life to the fragile flower and the mighty oak
It brings comfort to the little child who in its' waters soak

Peace is never absent but it is too often unseen
By those who on their own understanding lean

Peace does not deliver from but it does deliver thru
When the things of this life begin to overwhelm you

Peace can make jagged rocks into smooth stone
Giants of doubt cannot stand when they are thrown

Peace seldom understands but it always knows
Those planted by its water in all seasons grow

Peace is a treasure that only a child can find
For it is only found in your heart not your mind

Seek peace and pursue it before it flees away
Hold it close and love it and it will always stay
