I'm Not Worthy

I wait for the real ministry to begin
Another year passes disappointed again

There's so much in my heart where do I go
I am tired of this search when will I know

I have the love, joy, peace of spiritual fruit
But it seems long-suffering has the deepest root

I'm sorry, so sorry, for the little I've done
I am not even worthy to be called Your son

My child.....

Let not your heart be troubled I hear your prayer
I know what is in your heart and how deeply you care

Instead of seeking greatness you sought My heart
Ministry is a way of life not something you start

The life you are living is by My design not accident
You have been faithful in each place I have sent

Whether it be in church, nursing home, or factory
With gentleness, goodness, meekness you glorify Me

You are a vessel that must be constantly refilled
As you pour yourself out for others they are healed

So much of what you do you do not even see
Which makes this fruit even more special to Me

Thank-you my child for a job well done
I am so very proud to call you My son
