Thank-You, Father
The needs are great my resources small
There is no way I can meet them all
I do all I can but it is never enough
Overwhelmed by hurts, demands and stuff
I cry to the Lord but He is strangely quiet
I don't know how much longer I can fight
Violent waves battered the ship again and again
The question wasn't if the ship would sink but when
Experienced fisherman didn't know what to do
It's hard to help others when you can't save you
Scared disciples woke Jesus the storm matched their mood
"Jesus don't You care we will soon be fish food"
Rubbing sleep from His eyes Jesus quietly arose
Outside thunder crashes and a mighty wind blows
Going on deck Jesus looks the storm in the eye
"Peace, be still" the storm calms a rainbow fills the sky
"Thank-you, Father" was all that Jesus said
He then turned around and went back to bed
We tend to see the problem not GOD's plan
GOD often works in ways we don't understand
Confusion to build faith tears to water seeds
Your heavenly Father knows your deepest needs
Those who are thankful will know GOD's peace
There's a beauty you will know when the storms inside cease
.....peace.....
