What I SeePosted Thursday, October 25, 2012, at 10:19 PM
I look into my mirror saddened by what I see
There's nothing attractive or beautiful about me
How can Jesus love me with all my imperfection
Every time He touches me a part of me cringes
Jesus walked in as tears flowed down my face
"You gave Me your heart will you give me your eyes
In total surrender I gaze into His eyes
The pain was unbearable I had to turn away
"For too long you have seen yourself thru eyes of sin
I looked into my mirror surprised by what I saw
"Thank-you Lord, finally a miracle I can see .....peace..... Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
A Pure Heart ![]() - Archives - Blog RSS feed - Comments RSS feed - Send email to Gordon Greene - Login I have the heart of a poet, the eye of an artist, and dress like a bum. I am no one important. No title, no position, no authority. Just a normal person. But I know Jesus. And Jesus knows me. And this relationship has changed my life and continues to change my life. I have no desire to be known but great desire for others to know Jesus.
I would like to blog about Jesus, christian living, church, hurting, hope. I do not want to lead this blog but follow it wherever it leads.

This is beautiful Gordon....I can picture myself and many others standing along beside you feeling the same way....I am so happy and thankful we are precious in his sight...
What we see (excerpts from Song of Solomon - The Message)...
Don't look down on me because I'm dark, darkened by the sun's harsh rays. My brothers ridiculed me and sent me to work in the fields. They made me care for the face of the earth, but I had no time to care for my own face.
Why should I be the one left out, outside the orbit of your tender care?
I'm just a wildflower picked from the plains of Sharon, a lotus blossom from the valley pools.
What Jesus sees (excerpt from Song of Solomon - The Message)...
You're beautiful from head to toe, my dear love,
beautiful beyond compare, absolutely flawless.
