When The Children Cry

A battle is being fought for the lives of children
Families are being ripped apart again and again

Unlimited resources to destroy but none to build
Truth is meaningless when innocent blood is spilled

When you try to defend yourself it's only a trap
Laws to protect expertly manipulated to kidnap

Even when a family did everything it could
When the children cry it is for somebody's good

These acts of terrorism are spun as necessary
Give enough rope, a noose, and then bury

Using sin's formula Separate, Interrupt, Negate
Smiling faces hide arrogance, pride and hate

How do you fight a battle that no one wants to see
This isn't my problem if it doesn't involve me

So we wander in the wilderness going nowhere
Besieged families wish that someone would be there

When the children pray does GOD speak to you
What if you did what you know you should do
