Where Do You Stand
In this world we must know who is our friend
So many players, liars, and those who pretend
Truth must be protected at any cost
Even if sometimes we offend the lost
So you ask the question, "Where do you stand?"
Sounds less like a question more like a demand
I will answer.....
I spend much time in darkness while others sleep
There is no such thing as an expendable sheep
I also visit often with others at the Samaritan's well
Trick questions and christian horror stories they tell
Today I was with Lazarus and we shared a meal
Once again love works as a heart and body heal
The Word rightly divided will always multiply
Meeting the needs of the hurting with each tear I cry
I am the least of the brethren but GOD knows my name
He never gave up on me and for others I do the same
Others see bad fruit but I think it needs more time
Sometimes it takes awhile before the words start to rhyme
Discarded by man chosen of GOD
Walking the same path Jesus once trod
Such a simple question, "Where do you stand?"
Instead of answering I write in the sand
.....peace.....
