There are great moments in sports, and then there are movies about the greatest moments in sports.
True sports fans are not the only people who can appreciate Hollywood's efforts to put sports greatness in the archives forever for future generations to enjoy. One of my favorite movies is 'Rudy'. So much sacrifice and dedication to Notre Dame pays off! Do you have a favorite sports movie? Comments Showing most recent comments first [Show in chronological order instead] |
Bobby is currently the Assistant Publisher at the Daily Statesman after serving his term as Managing Editor. He wears many hats in the office, including coordinator of all things online, but his real passion is sports. He can and will talk to anyone about any kind of sport. Just ask him a question!

Hoosiers.....because great things can happen in small towns!
Dancing...Footloose
Basketball....White Shadow
Football...Waterboy
Anything with Adam Sandler is good too. Looking forward to his new movie?
I have to go with "Remember the Titans." I used to watch that movie every night before bed. I cried...but I am a chick lol. The commitment and love and sacrifice...couldn't get any better than that.
For the "based on true events" catagory, I would have to go with Hoosiers. On the comedy side I would say Caddyshack.
