A good question has been posed by self proclaimed blogmaster dimebag darrell. This one should get some blood boiling!

"Which of the following would/should cost you more time in prison if the crime is committed in Stoddard County: dogfighting, child molestation, selling drugs that take a man's life, or attempted murder?" Opinions??

Bobby Greer, I can't believe you took Dimebag Darrell up on his suggestion!! Before I would put myself out to answer this obviously slanted question, I think Dimebag should give us HIS opinion! He obviously takes a dim view of Stoddard County justice, so let's see him post HIS opinion and take the heat!

You haven't answered Mr. Bobby's question, now have you? I guess you're insinuating that the dogfighters get a tougher sentence than the child molesters and drug peddlers? You probably think they're just having good ole redneck fun, eh?

Well, I'll go ahead here. The answer is: 1)attempted murder 2)child molestation 3)selling drugs that get somebody dead and 4) dogfighting. However, molesting a dogfighter while selling drugs to his killer should negate any sentance b/c they cancel themselves out.

I conquer with layne - I actually think death penalty for the child molestation is an excellent idea but looks as though it won't happen.

How can a person who calls herself Goat Lady call anyone else a redneck?

Actually, I was not insinuating anything - if you haven't noticed the nation will just tell you what they think (east side)...

BUT since you brought it up - I am gonna guess that the goat thinks dog fighting is as serious as those other crimes - if that is the case, I would like for you to just go ahead and throw that down so we can gnaw on it for a while.

I'm not the one who has blatantly called you "disrespectful." There have been plenty of others who've stepped up to that plate. (Stand in line)

I think it's pretty obvious that I don't mind a little "disrespect:" I don't even mind dimebag's hilarious accusation that I'm a "redneck." A person who lives out in the boonies and keeps goats sets herself up for easy shots like that.

And, contrary to our self-appointed blogmaster's self-appointed opinion, I don't think a dogfighter should get more time in prison than a murderer; but I do think they both deserve a "time out."

At least I don't have to express myself in the vocabulary of dead rock stars...

Let's see, I believe in making the punishment fit the crime, so with tongue in cheek....

Those convicted of raping children should be put in prison where they can be repeatedly raped by those who have power over them - not the jailers, the other prisoners. The prison system could make a little extra money by selling the videos: "Rapists Raped, What will happen to you if you rape children."

Those convicted of dog fighting should be put in a pit with an angry pit bull who has been trained to attack whatever is in the pit. If the person survives, they should receive the same level of medical care they gave their dogs - at least until they go back into the pit again - once for ever fight in which they participated.

Those convicted of selling drugs should be put in a pit with the parents and/or loved ones of their victims. I don't figure they'll survive the experience.

To discuss which crime is worse is a waste of time. They're all bad. They're all crimes for a reason.
