Elite Eight 'Cats ranked #1Posted Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at 11:34 AM
Hard work, determination and raw talent has earned the Dexter Lady 'Cats the distinction of being the number one ranked Class 4 girls high-school team in Missouri. The Lady 'Cats are currently sitting atop the polls with a 12-0 record, two tournament championships and a desire to win it all. Hats off to Coach Chad Allen. Allen is a winner. He comes from winning organizations and has worked himself into a position where he can continue to emphasize hard work and winning and develop the 'tradition' he knew while running the court under Gene Bess at Three Rivers. Keep up the good work and congratulations your number one ranking! Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

Congrats Lady Cats! Coach Allen is doing a great job with those girls and hopefully they will continue to work hard and have a dream season. A tip of the hat should also go out to ex-Lady Cat Coach Gavin Miller for generating a new level of excitement for girls basketball that will be reaping benefits for years to come.
Give coach Sitze a hand as well. He works has helped make the girls the team they are today.
Also to Coach Louder and Coach Goodwin!
Absolutely Hoon. They were the foundation to what the Lady Cats have become.
