Are you ready for some football?

Posted Monday, September 20, 2010, at 12:13 PM

Let's talk some football. Who are the best high school teams in Southeast Missouri in their respective classes? Have you seen some awesome play so far? What is the game of the year?

How about SEMO?! Huge upset over SIU. Anyone go? How will SEMO do the rest of the year? What does beating SIU do for their program?

Did you watch Manning Bowl II? Thoughts? How about them Cowboys and Vikings starting the season 0-2? When will the Rams win? How about a grade on Sam Bradford?

Wide open football discussion....what are your thoughts?

"Bradford earns first win"

Where do you think the Rams will finish in the NFC West this season?

Oops! My bad!

Seems like I get about 3 minutes every 2 months to throw up a new blog therefore they are short and sweet and usually lacking!

What a win for Mizzou over the Aztecs! How many people actually dished out 40 bucks to watch this on pay-per-view?

Good open topic BG.

Football is weak in the area overall, so you will have to search to see awesome play unless you lower the bar and your expectations. That said, game of the year in our area could be Cape-Sikeston. These two seem to be in a different leauge. Dexter will have to overachieve, which they could very well do as hard as they work, in order to bring home a district. It can be done as New Madrid appears to be a one man show.

SEMO? Great win, but who cares.

Manning Vs. Manning? I would take Payton every time. Cowboys? Hilarious and couldn't happen to a bigger idiot of an owner. Vikes? What do you expect from a dinosaur QB who did nothing in trainging camps and little in pre-season. They both could be back and possibly make the playoffs however.

Rams are going to get there. Easier to cheer for this year and Bradford shows a ton of promise.

What? No questions about the beloved Missouri Tigers?
