North Stoddard Countian Bloomfield Staff Writer ElFreda Cox has passed away this morning following her battle with cancer.

Cox was a hard worker who cared deeply for her family, community and her work.

She will be sorely missed by all of us here at The North Stoddard Countian and The Daily Statesman.

A tribute story will be published in this week's edition of The North Stoddard Countian.

Funeral arrangements are not final at this time and will be posted here as soon as they are released.

My heart and prayers go out to her family and friends. The loss of a loved one is difficult, and to lose someone after a cancer battle is even tougher. God Bless you all...you will stay in my prayers.
