So, anyone going to see Palin?

I figured in light of Sarah Palin's visit to Cape Thursday morning it would be a good time to see how many of you readers out there will be making the trip up to see her.
I'm personally looking forward to it because it will be the third major candidate I've had the opportunity to see this year following Sen. Obama and former Gov. Huckabee. Being a bit of a politics junkie it's made this election more interesting for me because I've never dealt with anyone so high up the political food chain. Well, I'm gonna keep this one short just thought I'd check in. Is there anything about this year that makes the election more important to you than usual? So, how was it?
There will be a bunch of pictures and at least two related stories in the Friday edition of the Statesman, so make sure you pick one up.
That's okay, I.B. At least your verbs are grammatically correct.
I would love to have went, but work keeps me here.
Shouldn't use gender terms in here I guess, sorry.
Wish I could have went Corey...but between work and getting everyone else off to work and school, I could not! What an exciting opportunity for you; to be apart of, and experience history.
Enjoy it, and soak it all in! It only comes once every 4 years! But report it all for those of us who could not go! All the juicy details! lol
As for the gas prices, I thought you guys said that the president (i.e. politicians) had no control over the price of gas. It was all governed by supply and demand. If that's the case, what do lower gas prices have to do with this election process??
I.B., who's this "she"? Dexterite is a guy.
I guess she means that Palin probably will not promise a chicken in every pot.
dexterite, how did I know you would say something like that. You are right about the noise, but gas has gone done considerably. And what do you mean about no substance? Does Biden have substance? Clue me in.
I have to take my dog to the vet.
I would like to see any of them in person, but nope, can't go.
Is Hank Jr going to be there singing his McCain-Palin Tradition remake of Family Tradition?
No, I have to work. I recieved a call on Monday for it and would have gotten a free ticket but there's no way I can go. Sure would've liked to though!
I'm going! You betcha!
Not worth spending money on gas. Lots of noise, no substance. No, I wont be there.
I will be there, I love her!
Wish I could go...but I'm so wore out on all this stuff, I don't think I could drag myself to Cape even if I tried. Once-in-a-lifetime isn't always what it's cracked up to be....
I will be there.
