Running with the bulls???

As I perused my morning headlines today I noticed that at least three news agencies seem to be making a big fuss out of the death of a person at the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain this week.

Is it just me or is that not really newsworthy? I mean picture this scenario...

Man travels around the world to visit Spain and run down the street alongside a 1,000 pound animal with giant horns and a bad temper, man dies...DUH!

In my opinion, the news story should have been titled "Only one dies in Pamplona."

I know the people who go do this treat it as some kind of spiritual or religious experience, but is it just me or does teasing God not sound a little crazy?

I myself have never understood this tradition. Everyone knows that bulls are onery critters. I have no urge whatsoever to tempt fate by running along side one of these beasts. If any of you would like to run with the bulls though I do know a few farmers with some cattle that could probably use a real good laugh at your expense, this way you would not have to travel all they way to spain. LOL

It is wise not to play with the bulls. Very good idea to be skeered.

ok a little skeered, them some big ole critters. The only way I wanna deal with a bull is medium rare with a baked tater on the side. Oh and some garlic bread lol. Or maybe chasing corey down the street, i would get a good laugh out of that as we all would lol.

Hoon is comfortable with the bull, because he's thrown so much of it...

Some would say that the goring of a man who chose to run with bulls is natural selection at work.

I think I have to side with FJGuy, people dying during the running of the bulls is natural selection. Now we need running of the lions and running of the bears.
