How much will Fielder get?Posted Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 9:48 AM
I was just reading a short piece on Prince Fielder at mlbtraderumors.com this morning and it got me to thinking. While so far the market seems to be fairly thin for his services, we all know he'll play somewhere next season. The scuttle seems to be that no one is interested at the number of years he's trying to get. His agent, the infamous Scott Boras, is making a hard push and either the interest is thin or they're holding out until mid-January so that they can reach the point where teams get nervous and might be willing to overspend.
Here's my question...How many years and how much cash will Fielder be making when he steps to the plate for the first time in April? Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

If he waits this long to sign is he headed back to Milwaukee?
On a completely unrelated note, I saw you at the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament this week. I kept meaning to run down and say hi, but never could get a few minutes. Happy New Year!
