Week 2 winners named, Week 3 question releasedPosted Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 1:51 PM
The week one question was: What past St. Louis Cardinal Pitcher has hit two World Series home runs during his tenure with the team?
The correct answer was: Bob Gibson in the 1967 and 1968 World Series'.
Congratulations to Scott Nelson of Dexter, Mo. and Randy Nations of Syracuse, Ill. who won this week's contest.
This week everyone's answers were correct, so this week's question will be a little bit more difficult.
Here is the question for week 3: Who received the most career intentional walks in Cardinal history before 2008?
This week I will be giving away a copy of the A+E Networks Home Entertainment/MLB Productions Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack "BASEBALL'S GREATEST GAMES: 2011 WORLD SERIES GAME 6". This commemorative edition includes Game 6 of the 2011 World Series in its entirety. Watch David Freese mark his place in the history books with a performance Cardinals fans will never forget.
Entries will be accepted from now until 12 noon (CST) on Thursday, April 26. The next day, I will release question 4.
