Welcome to Corey's Book Shelf!

What I'm planning to do here is to take the books that interest me and write short reviews or suggestions and maybe spark some discussion with those of you who have read the same book. What I will try to do is each time I post a review, I will post the next book I plan to read.

For the time being, I'm reading a handful of books on baseball and/or the St. Louis Cardinals. I'm not really putting a theme to this, I'm just going with whatever sounds good.

On a side note, I'll be posting a review next week on "Just Play Ball" by Joe Garagiola. While it's not a new book, a taped interview I saw recently convinced me I should give it a read. With any luck, I'll have the review up within a few days.
