Miss Alaska 1984?Posted Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at 8:18 PM
Actually, I do have a good claim to the right of posting photos of Miss Alaska candidates, as my very own cousin - Linda Rowley - was Miss Alaska the year we moved up to Fairbanks. Somewhere I have a photo of her in the Midnight Sun costume which won the title, even if she didn't. In fact, I googled the topic and discovered that Linda is on Wikipedia! No, hoon, there's no photo on the on-line encyclopedia.
It was, in fact, hoon who inadvertently gave me this idea, since he went so BONKERS over Ms. Palin on one of the other blogs. I was just reading B.J.'s blog when the topic came up again - so VOILA! Here it is!
I have found another site with more photos of dear Sarah, but to the great disappointment of all her male supporters, there is so far no SWIM SUIT shot! Even though I distinctly remember that catagory being a part of the competition. So sad.....
Okay, so I'm not going to ruin this touching moment by chattering on endlessly.......I'll just fade off into the distance and let all you disgusting members of the masculine gender drool all over your computer keyboard....
Maybe I can round up a few more visual treats for you this week....
