Power of Prayer

Posted Monday, August 17, 2009, at 11:44 AM

Prayer is the most powerful tool.... The more people pray, the better the outcome. Several thousand people venture across the Daily Statesman website during each month. If you know of someone needing prayer please get the word out here.

Continue to pray for Hunter Chad of Advance. He has come a long way after a 4-wheeler accident, but he still has a long, long way to go before he's back to normal.

Rachel, of course. In the Bible it is written "..by His stripes we are healed.." Notice that it doesn't say 'will be' but 'are'..this is one of the most wonderful promises He has made to us and we just have to accept it, believe it and walk it...I will also pray that He will fill you with His Spirit and give you that 'peace that goes beyond understanding'..in Jesus' mighty name I ask and recieve these things...Amen

And while you're at it, pray for me, personally. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am dibetic and I'm having a very difficult time right now..it seems that in spite of my best efforts, my sugar levels are running both extremes..due for the most part to stress..both at home and at work. And with that comes all the domino effects..depression, pain, and lack of mental focus...Thank you all in advance for all your prayers.

I challenge all those who read this to pray for our country...the citizens and the leaders, both elected and appointed..for guidance, wisdom and knowledge for those who believe, and for those who don't, that God will come into their hearts and change them. To anyone who agrees with this, can I get an Amen?
