Sorry bloggers for my long absence of new blogs. I was out Friday of last week and this week I have so far been swamped.

I happened to watch Jim Carrey's "23" this weekend. I don't know if any of you have seen it, but Carrey actually plays a serious character this time.

I have to give him his credit as well. I wasn't sure how he would do playing a character who wasn't one of the most stupid people on the planet … he did amazingly well. I thought the movie was all right, I've seen much worse.

Like those movies they always show on the SciFi channel. Those have got to be some of the most horrendous movies ever created, yet I can't help but watch them. You've got it. I'm a closet SciFi channel movie junkie.

The great thing about movies though is that no matter how awful it is, it helps us to escape our own realities for just a few hours.
