The projects shall consist of the Removal of the existing single span steel beam and concrete deck bridge on County Road 784 and construction of a new single span pre-stressed concrete box beam bridge on both County Roads 754 and 784. The DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) contract goal for the amount of work to be awarded for the 784 bridge project is 6% and for the 754 bridge is 5% of the total federal project price. The bidder shall also complete the DBE Identification Submittal forms for both projects in accordance with the General Provisions. Missouri Law, 292.675 RSMO, requires any awarded contractor and its subcontractor(s) to provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction Safety Program ) for their on-site employees. The Owner must award the project for both bridges to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The lowest bid shall be the lowest total for both projects combined. See the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, Section 102 for additional information. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, securities in the amount, form , and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
