Gathering recently to finalize plans for the Four-Person UCAN Golf Scramble slated for Friday, May 9, were committee members (seated) Janice Nichols and Kim Conner and (standing) Annis Fortner and Sharon Hill. The event, to be held at Hidden Trails Country Club, will benefit the United Cancer Assistance Network, a non-profit organization providing individual support for area cancer patients in an effort to ease the burdens brought about with a diagnosis of cancer. ...
