Advance centenarian Dora May Hogg Morgan was born on Halloween Day, 1906 in her parents' rural home near Loundes, Missouri. At that time, the president of the United States was Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, and he had just made a trip to the Panama Canal to see how the construction on the "ditch" was going. Radio had just been invented, but most homes did not have one. Light bulbs had also just been invented, but most homes still used kerosene lanterns...
