Bessie Ruth Mouser, 68, died Wednesday, April 30, at her residence in Hazelwood. Born Jan. 22, 1935 at Avert, daughter of the late Moy and Lillian Harper Bennett, she was of the General Baptist Faith. Mrs. Mouser was a former waitress for Holiday Inn. On May 21, 1951 at Piggott, Ark., she married James J. Mouser. Mr. Mouser survives of the home in Hazelwood. Besides her husband, survivors include three sons, Gary L. Mouser of Hazelwood, Steven J. Mouser of Woodson Terrace and Timothy Mouser of St. Louis; one brother, Bill Snider of Sugar Loaf Keys, Fla.; one sister, Shirley Wethington of Bloomfield; fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2003 at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2003 at 2 p.m. at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomfield cemetery.
