Dolly Farmer, daughter of the late Isaac Cecil Wilson and Noah Ward Wilson, was born on July 4, 1913, at Senath and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at the age of 89. Mrs. Farmer was a member of the Senath Church of Christ, a homemaker and resident of Bloomfield. She was united in marriage to Hershel Truman "Jack" Farmer on Oct. 5, 1932, at Paragould, Ark. Mr. Farmer preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1985. Survivors include two sons, Donald Ray Farmer of Bernie and Gerald Farmer of St. Charles; three daughters, Anita Cullum and Phyllis Farmer, both of Bloomfield, and Vickey Hartline of Dexter; by 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Eddie Farmer and Hershel Odell Farmer; six brothers, Thomas Wilson, Elmer Wilson, Cecil Wilson, John Wilson and two in infancy; six sisters, Kate Tidwell, Avabel Hardin, Virginia Rains, Julia Unger, Doris Montgomery and Cordelia Farrar. Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Dale Grissom officiating. Interment followed in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.
