Theorthis Lee, 72, son of the late Ben Lee and Ida Mae Burnett Lee, was born Oct. 25, 1930, in Malden and died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at his residence in Malden. Mr. Lee was united in marriage in 1954 to Classie Dukes, and she survives of the home in Parma. Mr. Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. Other survivors include two sons, Theorthis Lee, Jr. of Malden, and Marvin DeWayne Lee of Sierra, Ariz.; nine daughters, Marilyn Allen of Elkhart, Ind., Mamie Brown, Vera Nix, Ida Mae Jones, Margaret Lee, Anita Hill, Thurmanda Lee, and Arlene Lee, all of Malden, and Deborah Hill of Essex; one sister, Mae McCoy of Malden; one step-sister Debra Green of Chicago, Ill., 30 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandson and one brother. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, until service time at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at the Bradshaw Chapel in Malden with Rev. Gene Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Malden with military rites.
