Adam D. Lott, son of Cynthia Marie Lott Neese of Dexter and Steven Lott of Byram, Miss., was born on June 10, 1987, at Hattiesburg, Miss., and died near Dexter as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident on Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at the age of 15. He was a tenth grade student at Dexter Senior High School, of the Baptist faith and a resident of Dexter. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Cynthia and Donald Neese of Dexter; father, Steven Lott of Byram, Miss.; one brother, Alex Lott of Dexter; two sisters, Stephanie Lott of Dexter and Morgan Stewart of Hattiesburg, Miss.; maternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Lott of Collins, Miss.; paternal grandmother, Beulah Lott of Magee, Miss.; maternal great-grandmother, Marie Lott of Collins, Miss. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dewitt Lott and his maternal great-grandfather, J.M. Pat Lott. Visitation was held from 6-9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at the King Colonial Chapel in Collins, Miss. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, in the King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Woolwine and Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Interment followed in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
