Pansy Walker

Pansy Walker, daughter of Otho Brown of Dexter and the late Alma Walker Brown, was born on Sept. 24, 1947, at Parma and died in the home of her brother at Dexter on Jan. 1, 2003, at the age of 55. Mrs. Walker was a line supervisor for Rowe Furniture in Poplar Bluff and a resident of Dexter. She was united in marriage to James E. Walker on June 4, 1966, at Essex. Mr. Walker preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 2000. Survivors include her father, Otho Brown of Dexter; three brothers, Dallas Brown, Henry Brown and Raymond Brown, all of Dexter; one sister, Twila Christman of Dexter. Besides her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Asher. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
