Charleen Crook

Charleen Crook, the daughter of Robert and Birdie Tidwell Qualls, was born on Nov. 8, 1908 in Grand Rivers, Ky., and died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 94. On Nov. 22, 1920, she was married to John Crook in Piggott, Ark., who preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1964. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located in Malden. Survivors include four daughters, Mary Ann McClemore of Calvert City, Ky., Dorothy Pascazi of Kimberling City, Joan Mayberry of Essex, and Glenda Wilson of Dexter; one sister, Pauline Owens of Charleston; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Crook in 1952. Graveside services were held Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden with Bro. Jack Wrinkle officiating. Interment followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.
