J.T. Irvin, 77, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002. His death, while unexpected, was quick and reasonably easy. His quiet strength will be missed by his surviving wife Betty, his daughter, Mickey Roth and her spouse, Jules; his son, John and wife Pam, and their children Amy and Michael. Mr. Irvin was the eldest son of Frank and Hallie Irvin. He was born Nov. 3, 1925, in Kennett. His surviving siblings are Bonnie Selby of Malden; Bob Irvin of O'Fallon, and Carolyn Hester of Dexter. Mr. Irvin farmed in the Aid community for 51 years and was a member of the Liberty Hill General Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10 - 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, with memorial service following at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The family requests that all memorials be sent to the Liberty Hill General Baptist Church at Aid, in care of Keith Stoelting, Treasurer, at 20071 State Highway WW, Puxico, Mo. 63960. PAID
