Wayne D. Heath, the son of the late Edgar and Nadine Barnett Heath, raised by his grandparents, the late Charles and Myrtle McLean Fields, was born in Cheyenne, Wyo., on Dec. 27, 1944, and died at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at the age of 57. Mr. Heath was a CPA and served the area for more than 30 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dexter, the Shriners in St. Louis, and a member of the Dexter Eagles Lodge. On March 27, 1970, he was married to Mary Ann Smith in Dexter. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Heath of Bloomfield; one daughter, Debbie Matz and Rich Matz of Plaistow, N.H.; three grandchildren, Tiffany and Abby Matz and Ricky Murray, all of Plaistow, N.H.; and one brother, Charles Horn of Kansas City, Kan. Many friends and relatives also survive. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Masonic rites will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Wayne Dismuke of Dexter officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements. PAID
