Eleanor L. Morman, daughter of the late Harry H. Harvey and Ruby Duffield Harvey, was born on June 14, 1920, at Piedmont and died in the Cypress Point Healthcare in Dexter on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, at the age of 82. Mrs. Morman was of the Methodist faith, the former treasurer for the City of Dexter for 10 years, and a resident of Dexter. She was united in marriage to William Howard Morman, Sr. on Sept. 25, 1937, in Arkansas. Mr. Morman preceded her in death on July 20, 1974. Survivors include two sons, Bill Morman of Rochester, Minn., and Jim Morman of Lawrence, Kan.; one sister, Bertie Bruce of Chesterfield; and two grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Rufus Harvey; three sisters, Beatrice Southwick, Marge Avant and Helen Wilson. Visitation was held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services were then be conducted at 3:00 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Leist officiating. Interment followed in the Dexter Cemetery.
