Betty Mouser

Betty Mouser, the daughter of the late Edison and Hallie Baker Evans, was born in Dexter on Jan. 27, 1933, and died on Nov. 9, 2002, at the age of 69. Mrs. Mouser had lived in Dexter, New Jersey, California, and in Albuquerque, N.M., the past fifteen months. She was a graduate of Dexter High School and had worked for CostCo. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter. She was first married to Scott Jones, and he preceded her in death. On Dec. 28, 1976, she was married to Ronald Mouser in Dexter. Surviving are her husband Ronald Mouser of Albuquerque, N.M.; one daughter, Cynthis Jones of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Tim Jones of Marietta, Ga., David and Leslie Mouser of Albuquerque, N.M., and Russell Mouser of Lakeland, Fla.; four grandchildren, R.J., Kyle, Macaela, and Andrew Mouser, all of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters, Mary Ellen Pippins and Judy Rimel, both of Dexter, and Patty Miller of Cape Girardeau; and one sister-in-law, Pat Evans of Dexter. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Evans. Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2002, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2002, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Fred Leist of Dexter officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Parkinson's Association or the First United Methodist Church in Dexter. PAID
